Meet the Loxly Gallery Mascot: The Butterfly
Looking at the Loxly Gallery logo you will see the beautiful butterflies fluttering around. They will be making their way around the site pointing out new and cool things for you to pay attention to, plus we have the official Loxly Gallery mascot that will be traveling with Deborah and showing her the things to feature and to photograph and turn into art throughout her travels.
The butterfly flew to Deborah on a recent visit to the Bronx Zoo, which has a lovely Butterfly Conservatory, photos and art from which will be gracing the Gallery shortly.
So watch for the butterfly and even request where you would like to see her. And she doesn’t have a name, so feel free to post comments with suggestions for her name

That beautiful butterfly looks like Goldi-Lox to me! The legend is that she leads artists and art-seekers on the path to fabulous treasures

She’s very pretty and I look forward to seeing where she goes and what she does. How about Petunia, although Calliope is a great name!

Just a note that those *2* Goldi-Lox recommendations came in while they were moderated and neither knew the other said it! I’m liking it
But keep the suggestions coming!

Skipper — it doesn’t necessarily reflect the gold color but the name comes from a long line of California butterflies

Perhaps give the butterfly the name of a muse?
Mnēmē (”memory”)
Or
Calliope (the ‘beautiful of speech’)
(names and descriptions obtained from wikipedia)

Oh, how can you beat Goldi-lox? I mean… ButterHood? I don’t think so. Sunshine? Nah. FlutterButter? Too cutesy. See what I mean? LOL.
